Teah Carlton-Kennedy

Alongside my studies I work as youth and community coordinator for UNJUST UK and this has exposed me to the thrilling area of social justice law and activism. There are so many charities and non-profits within this space and being welfare officer would enable me to share opportunities with students on how they can get involved with charity work.

Also, I am the UCL ACSgiveblood representative, and being welfare officer would enable me to get more students involved with this incredible initiative.

My plans as welfare officer include:

  •  Starting an ACS book club
  • Conducting mental health and community healing workshops for ACS students specifically Sudanese and Congolese students during the events we are currently seeing unfold globally.
  • Exploring the possibility of acs coffee mornings
