We're gonna be doing all sorts of stuff throughout the year but you gotta know there ain't no squad do it like how we do. Basically we're just here to chill with some people that like good music, get involved on the Instagram and WhatsApp chat where well be discussing new releases and chatting about the all-time greats.
We're also gonna be running all sorts of events:
- Listening parties, album review club, film screenings, and games nights
- Discounted gigs and club nights
- Debates and talks with some big voices
- Hip-hop karaoke, Word Up (a spoken word event), and studio sessions for rappers, singers, producers and DJs
- Opportunities for live performances on campus and maybe even a UCL mixtape!!
Whether you're an artist or appreciator, if you love hip-hop & RnB, this is the place to be.
We're committed to ensuring this society is a welcoming place for all, so we'll be running events to make this a reality, such as:
- Listening parties dedicated to the women of Hip-Hop
- Talks/debates about Hip-Hop's historically complicated relationship with homophobia
- Discussions about Hip-Hop's role as a weapon against racism
