The European Law Students’ Association at University College London (ELSA UCL) was founded in 2016, but ELSA itself was established in 1981. There are over 50,000 members worldwide, spanning 375 Law faculties and 44 countries. It is the largest independent law students' association in the world.

ELSA UCL is an interdisciplinary organization at the intersection of law, economics, science, and policy. We offer a platform to discuss legal issues and their various implications on economic, science and policy matters; aiming to further the legal knowledge of our members through a variety of projects. Despite the name, we do not only cater for European Law students - we're an inclusive society, so if you're interested in the things we promote, please do join!

This past year has been a tumultuous time for change, and that doesn't end at ELSA UCL. We're working on collaborating with other ELSA networks across the city to create ELSA London, in order to bring you high-profile, large-scale events that you can't afford to miss out on.

As a member of ELSA UCL, you will have access to all of our events.

You will also be able to take part in all the national and international opportunities of ELSA:

You can also find out more by visiting the ELSA website at https://elsa.org/
