Context

On Monday 3 February, Union Executive discussed two items which passed through zones as policy proposals.

  • Welfare & Community Zone - Commuter Students' Officer
  • Activities Zone - Changes to Sports Rep Structure

These proposals were not voted on at Union Executive as they required Amendments to Government Documents (AGDs) to change the Bye-Laws. AGDs were going to be prepared for the next Union Executive meeting on Monday 3 March however, following additional feedback from the Sabbatical Officers this paper proposes these will be voted on via email.

Members of Union Executive are now asked to vote on these proposals via email.

Quoracy of Union Executive is 50%+1. This means that nine members need to vote for it to be valid.

These changes require amendments to the Bye-Laws which require a 75% majority of those voting.

A reminder that if you are in a job share, only one of you may vote.
