Saturday 28 September 201910.00 to Sunday 29 September 201916.00

Two days of Clubs and Societies, freebies, Society performances, food, drink… This is the Union’s Welcome Fair. On Saturday 28 September & Sunday 29 September from 10:00 - 16:00 (last entry is 15:00) we’ll be taking over UCL’s main campus to show you how you can make more happen at UCL.

Postgraduate-Only hours: This year, we’ll be open an extra two hours, till 18:00, with the last two hours dedicated to just Postgraduates. Last entry for this is 17:00. If you’re a Postgraduate, you can still come throughout the day but just bear in mind that Clubs and Societies will be catering more to a Postgraduate audience after 16:00. During this time, all 300+ Clubs and Societies will be catering their content to Postgraduates so come along and ask as many questions as you want and see how Clubs and Societies are for you.

You can come any time on Saturday or Sunday, no ticket is required and the fair is free to attend.

Enter the fair via the side entrance by the Student Centre

What is the Welcome Fair?

We’re expecting more than 15,000 UCL students across the two days. It’s your chance to talk to over 300 Union Sports Clubs, Societies, and student-led Networks. Alongside student-led clubs are a great selection of national and local businesses, ready and waiting with 1000’s of freebies to give you. In the Quad and Wilkins Terrace, will be live entertainment, society demonstrations, performances, music and food!

Accessibility

The Welcome Fair takes place on campus, around the Wilkins Building and main quad. All of these spaces are wheelchair accessible. If you have access needs, either come to the front of the queue (15 Gordon St) where a member of event staff will be able to support you or message us using the contact form on this website and let us know when you’re planning to arrive and how we could support you.

We have student volunteers on the day, able to assist students with hearing disabilities - please message us if you have hearing difficulties. Look out for them at the start of the fair.

The fair can be very busy, if crowded and busy environments prove challenging to you, we recommend either visiting at 10:00 on Saturday or after 13:00 on Sunday as this is typically when the fair is at its most quiet.
