Get creative for charity!
Give back this festive season by getting creative at our Crafternoon event. You'll dive into fun crafting activities and donate your crafts to community organisations to make a difference.
You'll get to participate in two crafts:
- Guided sessions with UCL Knitting Society: Make pet toys for Battersea Cats and Dogs Home.
- Independent crafting: Make and write cards for hospitalised children with Cards for Bravery.
This event is all about sharing the festive spirit by giving to communities in need, while connecting with fellow students through the joy of crafting. Whether you're looking to make new friends at our networking table or prefer to focus quietly on your artistic projects in our quiet corner, there's a space for you. Come along, express your creativity, and donate to our two amazing causes! You can also make some crafts to take home if there's time.
When and where is it?
- Date and time: 2pm-5pm on 4th December. This is a drop in session and you do not have to come for the whole time.
- Location: We will be taking over the seated areas on ground and mezzanine floor of the Student Centre.
What can I expect from these events?
- Meet Like-Minded People: Connect with fellow crafty members of our UCL community.
- Feel-Good Vibes: Unwind and express yourself through a variety of hands-on activities.
- Guided & Independent Creativity: Try something new with our guided knitting sessions or dive into the craft of your choice solo.
Come along, bring your friends, and let’s make this Crafternoon one to remember!
