Whether you’re a seasoned debater or completely new to the art of debating, this event is designed to spark your curiosity and enhance your public speaking skills.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your public speaking and debate skills, learning from experienced Debate Mate coaches.

- Can I just show up or do I need to book a ticket?
We ask that you book a ticket through this website so that we can anticipate numbers. Good news is, the tickets are free! All you have to do is sign-in or make an account through our Students' Union website and book a ticket here.
- I'm a student/staff member/community member/community organisation. Am I able to come to the event?
This event is for everyone! We want to welcome UCL students, staff, and our lovely community organisations and their beneficiaries. Even if you have not volunteered before, we welcome you to come along and try something new! Intrigued? Book your ticket now!
