Join Us for a Creative Plastic Art Workshop with Washed Up Cards at UCL
We’re delighted to welcome Washed Up Cards to UCL for a relaxed and creative workshop. You’ll have the chance to switch off, get crafty, and transform reclaimed plastic into a decorated greeting card for someone special. No experience needed, just curiosity and creativity.
In 2050, there could be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Washed Up Cards is on a mission to inspire change through creativity. They create punny, joyful greeting cards using colourful plastic collected from beach cleans across the UK and every card is completely unique.
Alongside their cards, Washed Up Cards run beach cleans and creative workshops that help people connect with nature, support mental wellbeing, and tackle the plastic crisis with hope and positivity.

Big Help Outs are fun, one-off volunteering opportunities that bring people together to make a positive impact. It’s all about small actions creating big change when we work together. At our events, you’ll always find friendly student and staff faces to help you feel welcome and supported.
