What is Muay Thai? Muay Thai (Thai boxing) is a dynamic martial art that uses the entire body as a weapon. Known as the “Art of 8 Limbs" (fists, elbows, knees, shins), it’s a fantastic workout that builds agility, power, and mental focus, all while teaching practical self-defence skills.
This 1-hour session will cover:
- Fundamental techniques: Punches, kicks, knees & elbows.
- Partner drills: Practice attacks & defence in a controlled way.
- Pad work & light conditioning: Improve strength, coordination & stamina.
Go at your own pace, there is no judgement in our classes and remember all classes are beginner friendly. So have fun, try a new activity and enjoy meeting new UCL friends at Project Active.
