Celebrate the start of the Union's Black History Month with a panel of staff, student and alumni to discuss this month's key theme: 'Standing Firm in Power and Pride' as well as an open discussion about experiences of being black at UCL.

Our panel includes:

Chair - Eda Yildirimkaya (Equity & Inclusion Officer)
Rawleka Wilson (Volunteering Officer)
Aya Elgool (Social Class & Mobility Officer)
Tandi Nyawanza (President of Afro-Carribean Society)
Mike Sulu (Co-Chair of the Race Equality Steering Group)
Seyi Osi (Former Equity & Inclusion Officer)

Following the panel, enjoy a networking lunch with Caribbean catering provided by Cottons in room G12 of 22 Gordon St. This will be a great chance to build connections and learn more about the exciting events planned for Black History Month this October!
