Are you in the thick of dissertation or thesis writing and wishing you didn’t have to do it alone? Looking for a bit of motivation and strength in numbers? Join us for a group writing session!
We’ll start by giving everyone the chance to share what they’re planning to work on, then, true to the spirit of the session, you simply show up and write. No pressure, no expectations, just focused writing time in excellent company.
We’ll take a break to savour some free snacks from a local social enterprise, before getting our heads down again for a second stretch of writing. It’s a great way to shake off writer’s block, meet other students, and make some real progress on your work.
And did we mention the free snacks?

We are a part of the Students' Union Social Impact Team. We bring people together across the student-community divide to explore the possibility of creating socially impactful research with and for the community. From discovering new ways of working to co-creating research with local communities, we are here to walk with students through their community research journey.
