Two days of clubs and societies, freebies, society performances, food, and more... This is the Welcome Fair.

On the final weekend of Welcome Week, we'll be taking over the UCL campus to show you how we make more happen at UCL...

No ticket?
You’re welcome to come along on the day and join a queue for non-ticket holders. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone is able to enter the event.

What is the Welcome Fair?

Your chance to talk to hundreds of our brilliant sports clubs, societies, and student-led Networks. Alongside student-led clubs, there's a huge selection of national and local businesses, ready and waiting with 1,000's of freebies. In the Main Quad and Wilkins Terrace we'll have live entertainment, society demonstrations, performances, music and food! Read our insider's guide to the fair...

Who will you meet at the Welcome Fair?

Each day there will be more than 200 different student-led groups. Each day will have a different set of student groups, so you may not get to meet the group you want to meet in person at the event. But don’t worry! There are many opportunities to meet groups in-person throughout the welcome period and beyond. Look out for club and society taster events happening throughout the first few weeks.

You must book a free ticket to attend
(Tickets will be available from Monday 25 September)

Your ticket will be for entry at a specific time on either Saturday or Sunday. The ticketing and entry system means we’ll be able to safely manage the number of attendees throughout the day. Book a ticket at the bottom of this page (on mobile) or on the right-hand side (on desktop). You'll need to log in with your UCL account.

If a time slot is out of stock, use the drop-down to select another time slot.

Can't attend?

If you can’t attend at the weekend, because there isn’t a time slot that suits you, or tickets are sold out, you can still meet and join clubs and societies. Although this is the largest event of Welcome Week, capacity is still limited by the spaces the event is hosted in. Our first priority is always to keep people safe, and to do that have to limit the number of people attending. There are many opportunities to meet groups in-person throughout the welcome period and beyond and in January we’ll be running another Welcome Fair on campus with all clubs and societies.

Accessibility

The Welcome Fair takes place on campus, around the Wilkins Building and main quad. All of these spaces are wheelchair accessible. If you have any access needs, either come to the front of the queue (by the Student Centre) where a member of event staff will be able to support you or let us know in advance by specifying your access requirements and how we can best support you when making your booking. If you are supported by a carer, there is no need to book an additional ticket for your carer.

Quiet Hour

During the first hour of each day, the event is quieter with fewer people in the space. Stage performances also start from 11:00, so the quad is a calmer more relaxed environment. Please book a ticket during quiet hour if you'd like to attend the event whilst it is quieter.

The campus is an alcohol-free space during Welcome Fair.
