Welcome to UCL East Creatives, an event series where you can try out a variety of creative skills with guidance from an instructor! Join us for our Intro to Macrame session, which is extra special as it’s part of our Explore the East Pole day! ❄️✨
You can escape the winter chill and join us for a warm, relaxing afternoon where you’ll learn the art of macrame. Macrame is similar to knitting and crocheting, but it doesn't require hooks, needles, or a loom. Instead, you use your fingers to tie knots in string or cord.
Whether it’s your first time or you're a seasoned crafter, this is the perfect way to unwind and create something special for the season - think cosy wall hangings and handmade winter decorations!
We will have three different stations, where you can make a choice of:
1) Macrame Angel Decoration
2) Braided Macrame Ring Decoration
3) Macrame Tree Decoration
We’ll provide all the materials, so all you need to bring is yourself! Let’s spend the afternoon together, making this winter a little warmer, one knot at a time. 🧵
