Join us for a special screening of Power Station, a 90-minute documentary following a group of neighbours in Walthamstow as they try to turn their street and local schools solar, building a community-led “power station” from the ground up.
The film offers an honest, funny and hopeful look at what happens when ordinary people work together to tackle the climate crisis where they live. It explores new ownership models, the challenges of raising community finance, and the momentum required to turn bold ideas into impactful action. After the screening, there will be a short panel conversation featuring co-director Dan Edelstyn (one of our very own UCL alumni!).
Content Notes: Discussions of climate breakdown, poverty, and racism.
Access Notes: A mix of explanatory dialogue (in English) and visual storytelling with mainly bright images.
