To celebrate UCL’s 200th anniversary and Pi's 80th anniversary, the Pi committee have created a souvenir edition of the magazine, and we're hosting a panel event and drinks reception to mark this historic moment.
What's planned?
The evening will feature a special panel and Q&A with former Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Dimbleby and Pi alumna Louisa Naks. Bringing together influential voices from the Pi community, the discussion will explore how early experiences in student media can shape remarkable careers. Our panellists will reflect on their time at Pi and at UCL, their transition into professional journalism and related fields, and the pivotal moments, challenges, and lessons that defined their journeys. We’ll also be hearing their advice for aspiring journalists and broadcasters.
After the Q&A, join us for a drinks reception to celebrate Pi’s milestone anniversary, meet fellow students and alumni, speak with our guests, and pick up a copy of the special anniversary issue.
We look forward to coming together to celebrate Pi’s past, present, and future and this historic moment in UCL’s 200-year story.
Pick a free copy of Pi Magazine at the event, and read the digital version here.
