The Networking Reception is UCL Medical Society’s flagship event, held at the Max Rayne Atrium in the prestigious Royal Society of Medicine. The event brings together around 100 doctors and medical students, and features a series of speeches, followed by a networking session/drinks reception. Following the success of our inaugural event last year, we are looking forward to an even bigger and more diverse event this year.

Battle of the Specialties:
The ‘Battle of the Specialties’ involves speeches from 6 consultants from fields voted by our members - this is followed by an audience poll to determine the ‘winner’. This year's speakers will represent the specialties of:
Cardiology, Neurology, Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, Endocrinology & General Practice (GP)!

Following the Battle, attendees can network with doctors from 15+ specialties, and meet medical students from all around the country. This is a great way to build connections, find opportunities and learn more about your future career!
