Ready to learn mahjong? Join us for our Mahjong Beginner’s Tutorial, a friendly and relaxed session designed especially for complete beginners (and anyone who wants a refresher)!
We’ll guide you step by step through the rules, gameplay, and a few beginner-friendly tips, so you can start playing with confidence. Whether you’ve never seen a mahjong tile before or just want a supportive environment to practise, this session is the perfect place to start.
Want to volunteer to teach Mahjong?
If you’re comfortable with the basics and happy to help beginners get started, we’d love to have you! Teaching is very casual! You’ll be paired with other volunteers, and we’ll provide a simple teaching flow so you’re not doing it alone. It’s a great way to meet members, support the society, and help to spread this game.

• Volunteers (Teaching): for experienced players who would like to help teach.
🀄️ You only need a Taster Membership to join this event as a beginners.
🀄️ You will need a standard membership to teach in this event. (We expect you to be familiar with the game!)
