Join us for a creative, reflective workshop exploring memory, archives, and whose stories get told as part of UCL's 200th anniversary.
Led by UCL Special Collections and artist Simon Farid, this workshop invites you to think about how institutional memories are created, what gets preserved, and what gets left out. Through discussion and hands-on activity, you’ll create your own response using personal or digital materials, reflecting your past, present, or future connection to UCL.
Material from UCL Special Collections will be on display throughout, offering inspiration and context. Your creations will remain your own and won’t be added to the archive.
You don’t need to be a UCL student to take part. Whether you’re new to UCL or already part of its story, this is a space to share perspectives and explore how communities shape
Spaces are limited so booking is required. Book here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/is-the-collection-the-memory-bicentenaries-memories-and-archives-tickets-1988015089649
