Welcome to Clinic's Day at the River, hosted by RUMS Boat Club!

Who are we?

RUMS is the medical school's association that looks after the medics at UCL. Here at RUMS Boat Club, we row both for fun and competitively and the club is open to ALL UCL students, regardless of whether you are a medic or not!

We are one of the most popular (and most fun!) RUMS Sports Clubs, with a range of socials, races, tutorials, and more on offer!

What is Clinic's Day at the River (CDATR)?

CDATR is a FREE opportunity for students who are not new to university - for example, year 2+ medics, to come along for a taster session with us and to learn how to row and to get to row on the River Thames!

We understand that it can be a bit daunting trying something new, especially as someone who isn't a fresher. CDATR is there for you to be able to try something new, surrounded by those in a similar position!

It is a fun opportunity to meet the committee and the members of our club, make some new connections, and learn a new skill!  We would love to welcome you into the RUMSBC Family!

Who can come along?

Anyone! Primarily, this is aimed at anyone in year 2 and above! We have our 'Freshers' Day at the River' the following week, where anyone can also join, but this is aimed at the incoming freshers!

How to sign up?

Follow our Instagram page 'RUMSBC' for updates, and look out for a form to sign up to on our socials! You can also send a quick email to our Senior Women's and Men's Captains if you have any questions, or DM us on Instagram! Looking forward to seeing you!
