Join us for a special hybrid talk with Dr. Armon Sharei, founder and CEO of Portal, a cutting-edge cell engineering company. 🧬🧫
Dr. Sharei will share highlights from his academic journey through Stanford, MIT, and Harvard Medical School, and walk us through how he turned groundbreaking research into a successful biotech startup. He’ll also introduce the innovative intracellular delivery technology his company is pioneering — a novel approach to getting materials inside cells.
Although Dr. Sharei will be joining us online from abroad, the event will be hybrid, with the option to attend in person or online via a meeting link, which will be shared with members closer to the event.
🍪 For those attending in person, we’ll be serving snacks and refreshments after the talk! This is a great chance to chat, unwind, and connect with fellow GenSoc, MedTech and Biochemistry Society members!
