Inspired by Jet Lagged's Tag Across Europe series, Tag Across London will be a game of tag where you take turns running or chasing in teams, where the runners have to reach their scenic endpoint in zone 3 without getting caught, and the chasers have the runners' locations and have to tag them somewhere along that route. If they do so successfully, it becomes their turn to run.
Here are the catches: a chaser can use any form of transportation, but the runners can't go underground (that means no tube!). The chasers can use transport without limit, but the runners are limited by the number of coins (where faster modes of transport cost more). Finally, to get these coins, runners need to complete fun and funny challenges... which gives chasers the perfect opportunities to catch them.
With the runners at such a disadvantage, how do they win? Well, runners have two advantages that they must make full use of to win the game:
- their 25 minute head start
- their sheer unpredictability.
