About the Role

We are seeking a Volunteer Community Art Workshop Tutor/Facilitator to help plan, organise and co-deliver an innovative community art workshop in Stratford, East London on Saturday 13th September 2025. 

Inspiring and helping community participants to visually represent their  memories, or imagine what Green Street was like in the 90s when it was a hub for Bollywood film culture, at a time it was all analogue, audio cassettes, VHS and film magazines.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of delivering inclusive arts provision in a community setting. Involving planning, coordinating, and supporting the workshop sessions. If all goes well you will have the opportunity to co-deliver other community workshops in the future based on different themes for our innovative charity.

Skills and Qualities

  • Friendly, encouraging, patient, and approachable
  • Organised and attentive to instructions
  • An Art/Fine Art or other art background will be advantageous, and applicants preferably based in London.

Duties

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate the art workshop sessions and content/exercises.
  • Assist in designing workshop activities and materials.
  • Facilitate workshop sessions, guide and engage with participants.
  • Document workshop outcomes and participant feedback.
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure the workshop aligns with project goals.
