If this sounds like your kind of holiday, then why not join us this year!

COVID-19
As you will know, the UK is trying to do what it can to contain Coronavirus (COVID-19), and here at Sense everyone is working tirelessly to continue to provide the best support we can. Sense’s approach is based on the most up-to-date guidance from Government.

Here in the Holidays and Short Breaks Team, we have no plans to cancel any Sense Holidays or Vision England residentials in the summer.

We appreciate that this is a difficult and uncertain time for everyone and that making plans to volunteer this summer may be the last thing on your mind, but we cannot run our programmes without the support and commitment of our fantastic volunteers – which is why we need your vital contribution to our programmes more than ever!

We’re also working hard making plans to find ways of ensuring our volunteers can remotely get the checks and training to safely volunteer, and we will soon be in touch with more information about this.

More Information
Our holidaymakers and you On Sense Holidays, groups of disabled people with complex needs - children, young people and adults - pack their bags for a jam-packed week of new activities, friendships and lots of laughs.
As a Sense Holiday volunteer, you’ll be part of a team making sure each break is the very best experience it can be for everyone involved. Whatever your background and experience you will learn something – either about a new communication method, how to break down barriers for those with additional needs, or about the value of team work. You will come away with a memory full of magical little moments and a heart full of pride in what the holidaymakers enjoyed and achieved and what you did to make that possible.
The unique contribution each volunteer makes, no matter your skills and experience, enables each and every holidaymaker to try new things and make new connections in a safe and supported environment.
