SolidariTee is an international charity run and led entirely by volunteers who are students and young people. We're working to make lasting change in the way refugees and other people forced to flee persecution and violence are treated, through a combination of awareness-raising, advocacy, and fundraising to support grassroots NGOs providing vital refugee legal aid and mental health support.
It’s also a great opportunity to expand your own knowledge of topics relating to migration and forced displacement and to spark meaningful conversations with the student community and members of the public.
We are currently looking for volunteers to join our UCL team!
Positions on our UCL Regional SolidariTee Team:
- Regional Events & Fundraising Officers
As part of your university team, you’d be involved in organising fundraising and awareness events – anything from club nights, fashion shows and balls to panel discussions, film screenings and pub quizzes – and selling our SolidariTee t-shirts to raise funds for legal aid and mental health support for refugees.
No prior knowledge is required, just motivation and dedication to raise funds and stand in solidarity with people who have been forced to flee their homes.
