Description

We have launched an official UK Parliament petition (Require safe space training for businesses which advertise as safe spaces) calling for changes to consumer protection laws to tackle "safewashing".

We are looking for a Petition Campaign Lead to drive engagement, and help us to reach students. 

Working directly with the founders, you will take ownership of shaping our petition strategy, crafting persuasive campaign messaging, and setting action goals. As the campaign grows, you will also help design future volunteer call-outs to recruit a student team to run on-campus activations, society outreach, and online mobilisation.

Duties
  1. Help design a structured, multi-phase campaign plan running through January.
  2. Identify target organisations, UCL societies, and student networks for strategic partnerships and endorsements.
  3. Break down signature targets into manageable monthly/weekly goals and outline tactics to hit them.
  4. Outline clear roles and mini-tasks for future short-term volunteers to execute as the campaign scales up.

Time commitment

The campaign will be running till January.
We are flexible to work around your schedule. There are no set days. The role will be a minimum of 4 hours a week.
