Editors for Impact is a Community Interested Company dedicated to providing small charities addressing problems in social development or environmental sustainability with free media representation services ranging from video-photo editing to marketing and branding. Our organization connects partner charities with our network of creative volunteers to deliver projects that can help these organizations secure critical funding and establish meaningful partnerships.Through this system, Editors for Impact ensures that resource and time constrained organizations are able to share their impact and reach a wider audience. In addition, we offer volunteers the opportunity to gain experience by joining our management team to grow Editors for Impact or joining our Impact Editor network which allows creatives of all skill levels to work on projects with real clients.

Editors for Impact’s Management Team

The management team at Editors for Impact is mainly composed of graduate and undergraduate students from universities around the UK. Members of the management team gain valuable experience growing a small social enterprise while developing leadership skills by taking responsibility for projects and teams, with the opportunity to progress from Executive roles to Head of Department and even Managing Director. While running Editors for Impact, committed volunteers can build a portfolio of achievements and skills that will be transferable to all types of careers. Throughout all roles, management team members will gain experience in areas such as partner and sector stakeholder liaison, collaboration and coordination with a wider team, personnel management, project delivery and target setting.

Time commitment

We encourage a flexible work environment and are open to discussing commitment levels depending on specific circumstances. The estimated commitment period is of 4-6 months minimum. Weekly workload will not exceed 3-5 hours and there will be monthly meetings with the team, all of which are conducted virtually.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.
