Virtual Volunteering
Like every other aspect of life at the moment, the volunteering scene is changing quite quickly. Most face-to-face volunteering has stopped in line with the UK Government's advice on social distancing. UCL students and staff are still keen to volunteer. Here at the Volunteering Service, we've been gathering up examples of virtual volunteering you can do. Unlike other opportunities you'll see on…

The Global Diaspora Confederation (GDC) is the world’s largest diaspora-led civil society organization to connect and empower Diaspora Organizations at the global level. GDC aspires to build an inclusive movement where all Diaspora Organizations can be supported, belong to, discover and realize their ambitions in order to achieve peace, unity, and social and economic advancement for all.

You will be at the frontline to meet and identify passionate volunteers for GDC. In other words, how volunteers see and become interested in joining GDC will determine their volunteer experience, which begins with you. This role is crucial to the success of volunteer quality selection and retention. A successful talent acquisition process helps the GDC develop a good pool of talent and enables increased productivity.
