Description

Want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people while gaining new skills?

Join Dost as a volunteer and help young people build their English skills, access educational support and develop a greater sense of belonging in their new homes.

Our ESOL/ Homework sessions are relaxed, young person centred and individually tailored to meet the needs of the young people who access our service.

They are drop in and we may see young people who are newly arrived in the country and have little or no English skills or they have may have been here for some time and need help with their coursework.

Activities include reading, games, exercises and homework support, helping young people learn and progress at their own pace.

There is also the opportunity to collate and source suitable, relevant resources to use at ESOL Class - as a separate opportunity or as part of this role. (see other opportunity)

Why not come and join the team!
