University is a big, exciting place. But life isn’t always easy. We’re here to give you support when you need us, care about the things you care about, and fight for you when need someone in your corner. Our job is to make sure you feel supported every day.
We live by four promises. Four reasons our cafes, bars, shops and gym feel different to those elsewhere: we put every penny of profit back into your community, we’re always better value than the high-street, we’re at the centre of your campus community, and we choose planet over profit.
Volunteers will deliver evidence-based workshops on pregnancy decision-making and abortion to school students, which comply with best practice and support key public health objectives. Our workshops encompass the practical aspects of pregnancy decision making including contraception choice and abortion which is evidence-led, non-judgmental and inclusive for all students.
All volunteers will need to attend a training session before they can volunteer. After this volunteers are able to sign up for as many (or as few) sessions as they want to. Sessions last between 45 minutes and 1 hour.
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
The sessions will be moved online in the event of COVID-19.
