Digital Champions are people of all ages and from all backgrounds and communities. They help others understand the benefits of using the internet and can show them to do simple things online that can make a huge difference in people’s lives. You don’t need to be an IT whizz, just have some spare time, an enjoyment of being online yourself, and a passion to help others.
There are millions of people who don’t know how to use the internet. They’re missing out on a whole world of fun, information, and savings. A Digital Champion inspires others to use computers and the internet. Whether that’s helping a neighbour to send an email, handing out leaflets for computer classes, or helping a friend to set up their new computer or laptop, you can become a Digital Champion Volunteer and inspire others to make the most of life online.
