Work with the Hepatitis C Trust and contribute to our important work with those affected by the contaminated blood scandal.  The Hepatitis C Trust is a peer-led organisation, over 90% of our staff and volunteers have lived experience of hepatitis C. Our goal is to understand and address the gaps in diagnosis, treatment, and support for those affected by Hepatitis C. Your research could be the key to improving lives and shaping future health policies.

We are seeking a volunteer to conduct desk-based research, compiling and analysing existing academic studies, media reports, and evidence related to Hepatitis C. This role involves identifying gaps and limitations in current research, with a particular focus on interactions with health services in the context of undiagnosed hepatitis C symptoms and the diagnostic process. Your contribution will be vital in our mission to support those infected and affected by the contaminated blood scandal.

Duties
  • Conduct desk-based research, compiling and analysing existing academic studies, media reports, and evidence related to interactions with health services, undiagnosed symptoms and hepatitis C.
  • Develop a comprehensive brief summarizing your findings and suggesting areas for future research.
  • Assist in creating and updating The Hepatitis C Trust's organizational profile with relevant data and insights.
