Decoded: Changing Life Trajectories CIC
Decoded: Changing Life Trajectories CIC delivers tailored growth mindset and personal development programmes, to secondary school aged young people. We believe in equipping young people with the tools needed to change their own life outcomes.
Description

Are you a good role model with a positive mindset? Do you enjoy working with young people? Join the Decoded team as a Youth Mentor and help to give young people the tools to develop a growth mindset and safe space for them to express themselves.

Duties

- Assist in the facilitation of sessions in schools
- Deliver Growth Mindset curriculum (Training provided)
- Mentor students in a group setting
- Be an ambassador for the project
- Opportunities to take on other responsibilities e.g. social media management, content creation

Who will the volunteers be working with?
Our programme is delivered to secondary school students aged 11-14 years old.
Training
Volunteers will be given training on safeguarding young people, youth work and delivering our growth mindset curriculum.

Time commitment

Minimum 6 months,
1 hour weekly, on a weekday, between 2:00-4:30pm,
