We are recruiting community volunteers to pro-actively raise awareness of the work of Mary’s Meals. We want to give students the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the charity sector whilst reaching out to other students and their local communities to raise awareness of Mary’s Meals. We believe in providing the independence and freedom for students to develop their own ideas and fundraising initiatives for their own personal development. Yet, we also will ensure guidance where needed to encourage the shared vision of Mary's Meals and facilitate training for those who wish to take part in speaker events, communications or group leadership. We are also very happy to announce that UCL now has it's own Mary's Meals Group which volunteers are more than welcome to join.
• Promoting our work and fundraising campaigns • Hosting fundraising events for students and local community • Representing Mary’s Meals at university events • Encouraging press and publicity in local and university publications • Communicating with the London office on fundraising campaigns and events • Managing university outreach to encourage more student support for Mary’s Meals
All volunteers will be guided by Issie Rymaszewska (Supporter Engagement Officer).
