Throughout Christmas 2023, into the new year and through Spring 2024, Marie Curie will be organising Buckets Collections across London. Everything is provided for you to participate; all you have to do is find a collection near you and sign up online.
Collect with us for just 2 hours, and you could help pay for 4 hours of Nursing Care.
Collector Volunteer – 2 hour shifts.
Arrive 15 minutes before your shift starts to sign in and collect your kit.
Stand where instructed and smile, be approachable, and say hello to people politely.
Take donations in your bucket and on a contactless unit, thanking everyone who stops.
At the end of the 2 hour shift return everything to the Collection Host and continue with your day.
Your collection host will count the funds raised in a secure place the following day, and you will receive a text with the total you raised.
Time commitment
Collection shifts are 2 hours long, this is our recommended time to get the most enjoyment out of the activity.
You can book to collect as often as you would like. More dates are added to the console all the time, so you can keep checking back in when you have 2 hours to spare.
