Description

Are you looking to get into the charity sector? Are you looking for work experience within a fundraising team at a charity? Do you want to help make a difference to the lives of people with a learning disability by proactively delivering income for the charity?

If the answer is yes, we have the perfect role for you. We're looking for Community Fundraising Admin Volunteers who will support and work with the Community Fundraising Team on administrative based tasks.

The skills you need:

  • Confident on the phone and making phone calls
  • Good written skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Comfortable with using Word, Outlook & Internet
  • Confident in using Google for research

You'll be fully supported, and be provided with instructions for all tasks. This role is perfect for someone looking to get charity experience, and wants experience of what it's like to work within an office environment, as well as wanting to make a difference and raise money.

Duties

Activities you could get up to whilst volunteering could include:

  • Calling and stewarding our Community Fundraising supporters
  • Supporting with our Special Events by securing raffle prizes, printing and laminating
  • Researching and contacting companies and asking them to support us
  • Researching fundraising opportunities for the team to follow up with
Training
You will be supplied with a full training and induction, and will have a volunteer manager supporting you throughout your role.

Time commitment

This role is based from our London office, and we would like you to come in one day a week on either Tuesdays or Thursdays. You will ideally come in during our core hours between 11-3pm – but we can be flexible with timings and make the volunteering work around your schedule. When completing your application please let us know how long you are able to commit to this role for (once again we are flexible and open to varying commitment levels!).
