There Was Silence

UCL Chamber Choir will once again join with Burntwood School Chamber Choir, to perform music from England to the Baltic States, and from the Renaissance period all the way up to the modern day. The centrepiece of the concert is Benjamin Britten’s ‘Rejoice in the Lamb’: the two choirs join together for this major work, in which Britten sets the poem of Christopher Smart, then in an asylum.
