 UCLU Education & Campaigns Officer is responsible for representing UCL students’ educational and academic needs to UCL, covering everything from exam timetabling, to class sizes, to the tuition fees set by UCL, working to ensure decisions taken by the University have the needs of students as their priority. WALS

Studying in a foreign language is always challenging but our Writing and Language Support (WALS) Programme is here to help. The WALS Programme is available to international non-native English speakers free of charge and offers an opportunity to meet peer tutors for support with academic writing or spoken language. The programme also runs a range of workshops, covering a selection of grammar points, as well as conversation & culture classes where you can learn about UK culture in an informal setting.

Language Centre – English for Academic Purposes

UCL Writing Lab

The UCL Writing Lab is offering a support centre for the enhancement of student writing skills. The  Writing Lab is a free service for undergraduate and MA students within the Joint Faculties and the Bartlett. The Lab runs workshops and offers one-to-one support for academic writing, with four knowledgeable and trained tutors. For more information click here.
