Ahead of the official Varsity series beginning on 20th March, UCL and King’s societies will come together for the first ever UCL x King’s Society Varsity. This new event brings together invited societies from both universities for an afternoon of great football, friendly rivalry, and university spirit.
Each invited society from UCL/Kings will face their equivalent society from King’s/UCL in a one-off 8-a-side football fixture, creating a series of head-to-head matchups across the event. Teams will represent their societies in a single match, making every game an exciting opportunity to claim early bragging rights ahead of the official Varsity games later in the month.
The event is designed to bring societies from both universities together in a competitive but social environment, giving members the chance to meet their counterparts, build friendly rivalries, and enjoy a great atmosphere on the pitch. With a headful of fixtures taking place across the evening, spectators can expect fast-paced matches and plenty of inter-university banter as UCL and King’s go head-to-head.
Spectators are welcome, but tickets are required for entry. Tickets are free but limited, and you must have a ticket to access the venue. Once tickets are gone, entry will not be possible on the day, so be sure to secure your place early to support your society. ⚽🔥
