Join us to celebrate our latest exhibition H is for Hostile Environment, with a reception and welcome from the UCL East Cultural and Community Engagement team.

Featuring a film by Edwin Mingard and Keren Weitzberg, accompanied by a pamphlet by Geneva Virasami and artwork by Creating Ground.

The exhibition explores the hostile environment, a collection of government policies which aimed to co-opt large parts of UK society into policing the UK’s borders – from doctors to landlords, employers, homeless services and more.

The artworks have been co-produced in close dialogue and collaboration with those who have first-hand experience of migration as well as those who are actively challenging the Home Office’s draconian and surveillance-intensive policies.

We look forward to seeing you there!
