Broadway Market in Hackney is a Victorian Street Market that has been in use in one form or another since Roman times. It is known for its thriving Saturday and Sunday open-air market and the surrounding shops. With over 100 stalls on a Saturday and Sunday it is a must-see in North East London.
Speedfriending
Before heading to Broadway Market join us for a speedfriending session in the bottom of the Student Centre. This is a great chance to mix with everyone else coming along for the journey and make friends with lots of new people!
You will spend a few minutes getting to know each other before rotating around, meeting lots of new people in the group. It operates just like speed dating except instead you’re speedfriending!
Once everyone is ready we’ll head over to the market together.
Timings
We will be starting our speed friending at 09:00 and we will head over to Broadway Market at 10:00.
Your guide will drop you off at Broadway Market at which point you’re free to explore the market and the stalls for as long as you like with your new friends!
