Welcome back to our annual UCL Inter-University Public Speaking Competition 2026!
The competition will be divided into two rounds - prepared speeches and impromptu speeches. Participants will first present a 5-minute prepared speech with a topic they choose. Through careful judge deliberation, the 5 best speakers will proceed to the final round where speakers are given a topic and 3 minutes to prepare. Top 3 speakers will be awarded with trophies and certificates to celebrate their achievement!
Tickets will be required for universities to participate in this event. It will be £10 per university entry and £5 per speaker.
