UCL Men’s Football Club trials are open to UCL students interested in joining one of our competitive teams or Development Squad for the 2026/27 season.
To be considered for selection, players must attend either Trial 1 or Trial 2. These sessions will consist mainly of small-sided games and will be used by team captains and committee members to assess players and identify those to progress.
Trial 3 will be a callback-only session for players selected from Trial 1 and Trial 2. It will consist of 11-a-side matches and will be used to help finalise squad selections.
Trial dates:
- Trial 1: Tuesday 29 September, 13:00-15:00 - Mabley Green
- Trial 2: Sunday 4 October, 15:00-17:00 - Mabley Green
- Trial 3 (Callbacks): Monday 5 October, 11:00-14:00 - Peter May Sports Centre
Please arrive 15-30 minutes early so we can complete registration, organise players into groups, and get started as soon as possible.
Players should arrive in suitable football kit, including appropriate footwear and shin pads, and bring water. Further information regarding trial groups and callbacks will be communicated to registered participants.
