Yarn, Desserts, and Charity: Join Knitting Society and Baking Society for our Fundraiser Collab 🧶🍰☀️!
We are hosting a fun-filled fundraising event with all ticket proceeds going to Sunshine Action UK, a poverty relief charity that distributes Fortune Bags filled with food and sanitary essentials to homeless and low income individuals. They work closely with UCL, having recently packed 300 bags at our student centre! Your single ticket will cover around 70% of the cost for a Fortune Bag, so please join us in supporting their cause ☀️.
We would love if you could bring along a colourful themed bake to share with everyone! KnitSoc will also be providing the patterns and materials for dessert themed craft projects, so come along and learn how to make (non-edible) desserts whilst enjoying unlimited hot chocolate and (edible) bakes 🍪 🪡.
