IntoUniversity provides local learning centres where young people are inspired to achieve. At each local centre IntoUniversity offers a range of innovative programmes that support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to attain either a university place or another chosen aspiration. Volunteering with us offers experience working with young people, access to high quality training and on-going support from our enthusiastic staff team, and a chance to build leadership and communication skills. Volunteers make a measurable impact on the young people we work with and act as a real force for change in their local communities. IntoUniversity is currently looking for university students to volunteer as mentors. The IntoUniversity Mentoring Scheme pairs university student mentors with young people aged 10-17, providing them with tailored one-to-one support to boost their aspirations and achieve their full potential.
