Origami Volunteering Project
Origami Volunteering Project (OVP) is a student-led volunteering organisation that aims to provide stress-relief and a creative outlet through the art of origami. As a volunteer, you will go to your chosen organisation (see below) and interact with the people there by having a chat with them while teaching them how to fold origami!
Description

Interested in giving back to the community through promoting mental wellbeing? Join us at schools, care homes and/or hospitals to provide stress-relief and a creativity outlet through origami.  We are currently looking for volunteers to help us run the workshops in the 2025-26 academic year. You do not need experience in origami folding to join us! We will train you in folding and teaching origami - all we require is an eagerness to learn and willingness to teach others.

Duties

After completing a DBS check and at least one training session,  you will be able to participate in origami workshops and teach origami to individuals of varying backgrounds and ages.
