Bharathanatyam Recital
If you are a dancer or enjoy watching and learning about Indian classical dance forms, this event is perfect for you! This will be an evening of dance presented by Preethi Mahenthran, accompanied by some of the finest musicians in the UK, including Smt. Usha Raghavan (Director, Kalasagara UK) on Nattuvangam, Shri Vamshikrishna Vishnudas on Vocal, and Shri R. Prathap on Mirudangam. Grilled Diagrams by Aki Sasamoto
Aki Sasamoto’s Grilled Diagrams, her first UK institutional solo exhibition, features four live performances within a site-sensitive installation. Inspired by cooking shows and street food carts, Sasamoto uses a custom-built griddle to stage improvised acts of movement and drawing. Blending storytelling with everyday materials, her work explores the tension between order and chaos, inviting audiences to reconsider the narratives embedded in ordinary actions.
