What does social class and mobility mean?

Social class is all about groups of people in a society who share similar economic and social levels. On the other hand, social mobility reflects how individuals or groups can move up or down the social ladder, which is often tracked by factors like income, job, or standing compared to their parents or earlier positions.

Essentially, it describes how people's roles in society can change over time or in relation to their family background.
