Students' Union UCL is seeking a Careers Supercharger Event Assistants to support the coordination and delivery of Career Supercharger programme and provide general administrative support to the Events department. If you're keen to help put on exciting events and empower students to take the next steps in their careers this role is for you!
The Career Supercharger programme is a series of in-person, hybrid and online events to empower students to develop transferable skills, explore different career paths, build confidence and connect with professionals who've had similar journeys. Some events include networking practice with alumni, people management and public speaking workshops, career panel talks, global alumni webinars, and more.
This is an excellent role to development project management and events focused skills. You will have responsibility for running events from start to finish and build confidence through hands-on experience in stakeholder management, budgeting, problem solving, public speaking, and more. We're looking for enthusiastic, proactive assistants who are comfortable being the face of an event and engaging with your fellow students. You will work closely with the Events team and student leaders to build a long-term and sustainable events programme. This is a flexible role, and we are looking for a candidate to work from the Students' Union office 8 hours a week, and available for some evening and weekend shifts.
You must be a current UCL student and continue to be a UCL students for the duration of the 2026-27 academic year to be considered for this position and available for interviews and training in early May.
