Why put events on the What's on calendar?

There are lots of reasons to put your events on the What's On calendar:

• Event's show up on the Union's What's On calendar, and also in recommended events sections on events pages, society pages, and user profiles.
• You can set up tickets and track who has booked into your event ("Sales & Bookings" tab).
• For free events, users can cancel easily.
• If your event sells out, people can sign up to be automatically notified if there are cancellations and book on.
• You can track event attendance by scanning their tickets or by uploading a list of attendees.
• If you're a student group, the money from tickets will automatically deposit into your account.

Note, you can always put an external link if you need to ticket the event somewhere else - so you can add the event on our website but still manage it somewhere else.
