I’ve loved being a part of the Women in STEM community for the past few years and would love to contribute to it through being a part of the committee this year! As a 3rd year physics student, I know how difficult it can be to navigate male dominated spaces and societies like WiS are so important. I’m incredibly passionate about social mobility and would like to continue running a range of events that can be interesting and fun for the diverse and intelligent range of STEM women at UCL! I want people to leave our events feeling more confident and more connected than when they arrived. Most importantly, I care a lot about building community. I’d put real energy into making sure our events are welcoming, inclusive and something members can really look forward to!
